Reid and his crew did a great job. I was impressed with the amount of curing time they gave between each layer. Most companies state that they could have gotten our job done in one long day or two days maximum. Frankly, I don’t believe getting it done too quickly is a plus. When reading up on the process, it’s better to allow for more curing time between layers, thus allowing for a more durable floor coating. We have a 27″ high block knee wall. They took the time to put two coats on it (which other companies didn’t offer). The job was just about 900ft2 of floor with another 60-80 ft2 of knee wall. The job took a week, which allowed for better curing time and was what was required for a durable and beautiful end product. Also, they carry all necessary insurances including Workers Comp insurance. Not all companies protect their employees and customers with this. I highly recommend Reid and his Floorguard company.

We worked with their Newark, DE office to have an epoxy flooring installed in our 3.5 car garage. The process was stress free and the results were excellent. We were walked through the process from start to finish and answered all of our questions in great detail. The cement was badly stained as the builders used the garage as a workshop. The bulk of the first day of installation was spent prepping the floor (grinding down the surface to guarantee a good bond). They kept the dust to a minimum and did a great cleanup before the next step. They applied the base coat with a generous covering of the color flakes. The next day, they scraped off the excess and applied a top coat that contained non-slip beads. What a difference!
